All tanks will eventually require maintenance, Some will need minor repairs while others will need more extensive alterations or reconstruction. To be assured that your tanks are in compliance with the latest federal, state, local and industry environmental regulations and codes, a certified API 653 inspection may be required. Pittsburg's staff of certified inspectors and experienced workforce are qualified to perform the tank inspections and maintenance that will bring your tank into compliance and, at the same time, provide you with many years of safe performance from your tanks.

SAFETY (at PTT, it's more than just a program, it's a culture)
Pittsburg Tank and Tower prides it's self for having much more than just a safety program. We refer to it as our safety culture. Our management's commitment is to provide a safe, healthful, and productive environment for our employees to work in each day.
Training
One corner stone of our safety culture is our training program. Our industry/company specific safety training exceeds the requirements of Federal and State regulatory agencies.
Training is key to preventing injuries and incidents.
Any person completing our training receives a 10 hr. OSHA training card. In addition "all" employees are trained and certified in American Red Cross first aid (FA), cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and blood borne pathogens (BBP).
All newly hired employees receive training prior to being assigned work and all existing employees receive annual retraining.
Responsibility
Another corner stone is responsibility. You can not hold employees accountable without also making them responsible for their actions. PTT's management philosophy is that employees who violate safety rules create hazards for themselves and others Therefore, to safeguard employees, violators of our safety rules and guidelines will be subject to disciplinary actions, up to and including discharge.
For any company's safety efforts to be effective, all employees must become involved in those efforts and each employee must be committed to working safely. Management has and accepts the overall responsibility for safety and implementation of the safety efforts for the company. Employees have and must accept their responsibility to work safely, comply with safety rules, state and federal regulations, and assist fellow employees in their safety efforts. Through these efforts we can accomplish our goals and provide for safe and productive employment for our employees.
Accountability
The third corner stone of our safety culture is accountability. Management at PTT is committed to operate under the highest safety standards available and committed to holding itself and it's employees accountable to these standards.
Each member of PTT's management team realizes the importance of maintaining high levels of accountability in our dealings with employees, customers and the general public, especially when it relates to safety issues. In addition, we intend to provide our customers with quality services that assures them of doing business with a company that is a leader in our industry and will perform work in a manner that exceeds expectations.
PTT Safety Efforts Benefit Our Customers
